CBD Dosing Guide

You have probably noticed that it’s difficult to find dosing recommendations you can trust for cannabinoid products. This is partly because research on cannabinoid efficacy has been restricted for decades. But dosing is also a very personal exercise that depends on a wide range of factors such as desired result, your body type and your history of use, just to name a few.  If you have a twin, it’s as likely as not she takes a different dose.

Typically, cannabinoid products are labeled with their total strength and these range from hundreds to thousands of milligrams. Products come in all different sizes and pricing is all over the place. It’s pretty confusing—even to us.

Transparency is at the core of Naternal so we developed our True Dosing System as a structure to help you understand our dosing and price. We hope it also gives you a tool to better understand how to evaluate products across brands.

Our True Dosing System uses twenty milligrams per serving as its foundation. This decision was made because we most often see twenty to fifty milligrams as the recommended adult dose and it is also a common maximum dose recommendation for children. This made it a solid starting point for those who are new to cannabinoids and a sensible ceiling for our younger friends.

How do I determine dose strength?

Naternal’s tincture products are formulated to allow you to easily personalize your dose strength. Our 600 MG products allow for 5, 10, 15 and 20 MG doses. Our 1200 MG products allow for 10, 20, 30 and 40 MG doses. Our 2400 MG products allow for 20, 40, 60 and 80 MG doses.
